Maple Syrup Media is Europe’s leading cash back rewards platform, operating in the UK, Germany and France. https://www.maplesyrupmedia.com

93 worked with Dominic Butterell their MSM Customer Operations Director to design and build their new operations centre in the heart of Sheffield. A brief was set that focuses on operational functionality and staff wellbeing, whilst promoting social interaction. 93 introduced elements such as stand up desking, scrum tables, the Cantina and a War Room which facilitates this requirement. A fit-out time of 6 weeks saw the space transformed into a bold and exciting office, influenced by and complementing the external bronze appearance of the building.

The 9000 sqft office features a strong colour palette of green, orange and pink. Reclaimed cinema chairs, salvaged bus seats and vintage lighting all got a contemporary update, by the way of daring colours and febrik fabrics. 93 reinforced the MSM brand by salvaging maple timber and using throughout on floors, desks, counters and walls.

Encouragement of movement throughout the space was created with ‘break-out’ standing working spaces and public and private meeting spots. A ‘Cantina’ that acts in a multifunctional manner to cater for group presentations to small casual meetings in a booth. This is the space that is all about social interaction, where staff can become their own Barista or help themselves to a cold beer during a Friday night social.

For when the team  really want to get down to business, ‘The War Room’ is ready for staff to roll up their sleeves, get out the marker pens and get creative with ideas and training.

The confident use of colour, fabrics, planting and mix of reclaimed, salvage and custom built elements support the strong spacial plan with forces interaction between employees and the environment.

The whole project from concept to completion was around 6 months.

Aizlewoods were delighted to be part of this fantastic project and supplied and fitted the fabulous carpet, designed by Tom Dixon for ege carpets. https://www.egecarpets.com
