Founded by John Taylor in the early years of the 19th century, Taylor’s eye witness are designers and producers of kitchen knives, pocket knives, scissors and sharpeners.
The company’s premises which is currently a grade 2 listed building in Sheffield, is now believed to be the only traditional works remaining in Sheffield which still manufacturers its original products.
Although the interior of the factory is ever changing, the exterior of the building has changed very little over the past 160 years.
Aizlewood and Casson have been privileged to work alongside the company as it moves forward into a new chapter in the business’s history as they relocate to new premises in the near future. As shown in the image above, luxury vinyl tiles have already been fitted with more work to be completed very soon.
